Having worked in all aspects of the food business since arriving in the United States, Aris endeavored to secure his piece of the American dream. In 1978 he opened the Perista Restaurant on Kingsbridge Road and University Avenue in the Bronx, which is located directly across from the Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged, and within walking distance of the Bronx Veterans Hospital. Perista, is known for exceptional Coffee and in fact has been selected Best Coffee in the Bronx by the Bronx Times. Perista serves Breakfast, Lunch and everything in between and our customers have grown to rely on us for courteous service, an affordable and delicious meal.
